Delaware theme - customization and guide

Delaware is Shoporama's newest theme - a modern, responsive theme with many customization options. This guide will show you how to set up and customize the most important elements of the Delaware theme.

Menus in the footer

Delaware has space for three menus in the footer. To add a menu:

1. Create a menu under Menus in admin
2. Give the menu one of the following tags:
   • footer_menu_1
   • footer_menu_2
   • footer_menu_3
3. The menu name will automatically become the header in the footer

Mega menu

You can create a mega menu by creating a menu with the mega_menu tag. The mega menu appears as a large dropdown with categories and possibly images.

Colors and branding

Delaware supports color customization via theme settings. You can change:

• Menu colors - background and text in the navigation
• Footer colors - background and text in the footer
• Accent color - used for buttons, links and highlighted elements

The color settings are set up via the theme's HTML fields in the admin.

Logos in the footer

You can display logos for your payment and shipping options in the footer. Upload the logos via the theme settings.

Value propositions

Value propositions (USPs) are typically displayed below the header or above the footer. You can customize them via the HTML fields in the theme settings.

Images in blog posts

When creating blog posts, you can add images directly in the text editor. Delaware displays blog posts with a featured image at the top and the body text underneath.

Instagram integration

Delaware can display your latest Instagram images on the front page. To activate it:

1. Go to Settings and find the Instagram section
2. Insert your Instagram Access Token
3. Click Save

Trustpilot widget

Delaware has built-in support for Trustpilot. Insert your Trustpilot Business Unit ID in the theme settings to show your Trustpilot score.

DelawareDK - Danish version

DelawareDK is a complete Danish translation of the Delaware theme. The two themes are identical in functionality - the only difference is the language. Choose Delaware for English-language shops and DelawareDK for Danish-language shops.

Wishlists

Delaware and DelawareDK support wishlists. Customers can add products to their wishlist from the product page and view them together under My wishlist. The feature requires the customer to be logged in.

FAQ section

Delaware includes a FAQ page with the most frequently asked questions about the theme. The FAQ covers Page Builder setup, footer menus, mega menu, color settings and other customizations. You can find it under Theme → FAQ in the admin.

Automatic address filling

For logged-in customers, the checkout address form is automatically filled in with the customer's saved address. This applies to both billing and shipping addresses and works with the Alpine.js form's reactive fields.
