Why does the text look different in the shop than in the backend?
Explanation of why text formatted in the WYSIWYG editor may look different in your online shop and how to fix it.
When you copy text from, for example, a Word document, a supplier’s website, or a PDF and paste it into Shoporama’s WYSIWYG editor, hidden formatting is often included. This formatting can cause the text to appear differently in your online store.
Here’s how to avoid the problem
Mac / Apple
Copy as usual with Cmd + C, but paste using:
Cmd + Option + Shift + V
Windows
Copy as usual with Ctrl + C, but paste with:
Ctrl + Shift + V
Alternative method
You can also use Notepad as an intermediate step: Copy the text → paste it into Notepad → copy from Notepad → paste it into Shoporama. Notepad automatically removes all formatting.
Already pasted incorrectly formatted text?
Copy the text from Shoporama, paste it into Notepad, copy it from Notepad, and paste it back into Shoporama. The formatting will then be removed.
