Consumers' Association as a payment method

Forbrugsforeningen is a Danish payment method that gives members a discount when they shop. You can activate Forbrugsforeningen as a payment option in your Shoporama shop.

How to activate Forbrugsforeningen

  1. Contact the Consumers' Association and set up an appointment
  2. Click on the cogwheel in the top right corner of your admin
  3. Go to Payment
  4. Activate the Consumers' Association
  5. Insert your Consumers' Association details
  6. Click Save

How does it work?

When a customer selects the Consumers' Union at checkout:

  • The customer logs in with their Consumers' Union membership
  • The payment is registered via the Consumers' Union
  • The customer gets their discount automatically

Prerequisites

  • You must have an active agreement with the Consumers' Union
  • The Consumers' Union works through your payment gateway
  • Contact your gateway to make sure that the Consumers' Union is supported
