Attach terms and conditions to the order confirmation

You can attach your terms and conditions as a PDF file to the order confirmation so that the customer automatically receives them with the order details.

Here's how you do it

  1. Click the gear in the top right corner of your admin
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Find the Terms & Conditions section
  4. Upload your terms and conditions PDF
  5. Click Save

The PDF will now automatically be attached to all order confirmations sent to your customers.

Requirements for the file

  • The file must be in PDF format
  • Keep the file size down - large files can delay email delivery
  • Make sure the content is updated and correct

Alternative: Link in the email

If you prefer to link to your terms and conditions instead of attaching them, you can edit your order confirmation email and insert a link to your /terms page directly in the email text.

Tip: View and edit your terms of trade

You can view and edit your terms of trade under Settings → Legal. The terms and conditions are also displayed on your shop under /terms.
