A volume discount is a pricing strategy where customers receive a lower price per unit when they purchase larger quantities. It’s an effective way to increase the average order value and encourage customers to buy more.

Volume Discounts in Shoporama

In Shoporama, you can set up volume discounts at the product level. You define price tiers based on quantity:

  • 1–4 units: 99 DKK/unit
  • 5–9 units: 89 DKK/unit
  • 10+ items: 79 DKK/item

Volume discounts are automatically displayed on the product page so customers can see the savings when buying in bulk. This is particularly popular in B2B online stores and for consumer goods.
