Volume discount is a discount given when the customer buys a certain quantity of a product and is used to motivate larger purchases.

What is volume discount?

Volume discount is a pricing strategy where the customer receives a lower price per unit when they buy larger quantities. It is an effective way to increase average order value and motivate customers to buy more.

Volume discount in Shoporama

In Shoporama, you can set up volume discounts at the product level. You define price tiers based on quantity:

  • 1-4 pcs: 99 kr/pc
  • 5-9 pcs: 89 kr/piece
  • 10+ pieces: 79 kr/piece

Volume discounts are automatically shown on the product page so the customer can see the savings by buying more. This is especially popular in B2B webshops and for consumer goods.
