MPN

MPN (Manufacturer Part Number) is the manufacturer's unique part number used to identify a specific product from a specific manufacturer.

What is MPN?

MPN (Manufacturer Part Number) is the part number assigned to a product by the manufacturer. Unlike EAN, which is an international standard, MPN is specific to each manufacturer. The same manufacturer always uses the same MPN for the same product.

MPN in online shops

MPN is used together with EAN and trademark to identify products in Google Shopping and other product feeds. Google requires either EAN or MPN + trademark to authenticate products in Shopping ads.

In Shoporama, you can enter the MPN during product editing. The MPN is automatically included in your product feeds for Google Shopping, PriceRunner, and other channels.
