A parcel shop is a delivery point where customers can pick up parcels, typically in a grocery store or kiosk. It is a popular delivery option in Danish e-commerce.

What is a parcel shop?

A parcel shop is a physical pick-up point for parcels, typically located in convenience stores, kiosks or gas stations. In Denmark, several shipping companies offer parcel shop delivery, including PostNord, GLS, DAO and Bring.

Parcel shop in webshops

Parcel shop delivery is the most popular delivery method in Danish e-commerce. The customer chooses which parcel shop the parcel is delivered to and picks it up when it suits them.

In Shoporama, the shipping modules automatically integrate with the parcel shop network. When the customer selects parcel shop delivery in checkout, they are shown a map with the nearest parcel shops based on their address.
