Shoporama has a built-in AI assistant to help you write product texts and descriptions. The AI assistant uses OpenAI's GPT-4 to suggest text, continue sentences and describe product images automatically.

How to set it up

To use the AI Assistant, you need to specify an OpenAI API key under Settings → Webshop. You can create an API key on the OpenAI platform.

Functions

  • Text continuation - Start typing a sentence and the AI Assistant will automatically suggest an ending
  • Text suggestions - Get more alternative ways to word a sentence
  • Image descriptions - AI Assistant can automatically generate alt texts for your product images based on the image content

Where does it work?

The AI Assistant is available in the text editor when editing products and other content pages. Simply start typing and the assistant will suggest text based on the context.

Tip: AI-generated text is a starting point. Always review and customize the text to match your store's tone and style.

Pricing

The AI Assistant uses your own OpenAI API key, so usage is billed directly with OpenAI. See the OpenAI pricing page for current prices.
