Discount codes on a group of products

You can create discount codes that apply only to specific products or categories. This allows you to run targeted campaigns without offering discounts on your entire product range.

How to create a category discount

1. Go to Products → Gift Cards
2. Click Create New Gift Card
3. Enter the discount code, discount type (percentage or amount), and discount value
4. Under " Restrictions," select the categories to which the discount applies
5. Click Save

Restrictions

You can restrict discount codes in several ways:

• Categories — the discount applies only to products in selected categories
• Products — the discount applies only to specific products
• Minimum order amount — the customer must spend a certain amount
• Number of uses — the total number of times the code can be used
• Expiration date — when the code expires

Example

You want to offer a 20% discount on all products in the “Winter Jackets” category:

1. Create the discount code WINTER20
2. Set the discount type to Percentage and the value to 20
3. Select the “Winter Jackets” category under Restrictions
4. Save — now the code gives a 20% discount, but only on winter jackets
