Fulfillment

Fulfillment covers the entire process from receiving an order until it is packed, shipped and delivered to the customer.

What is fulfillment?

Fulfillment is the entire process from when a customer places an order until the goods are delivered. It includes order processing, pick and pack, shipping, tracking and possible return handling.

Fulfillment models

  • In-house - you handle warehousing and shipping yourself
  • 3PL - a third party handles warehousing and shipping for you
  • Dropshipping - the supplier ships directly to the customer
