What is a customer group?
A customer group is a way to divide customers into segments so that they can get different prices, discounts and experiences in the webshop. It is typically used to distinguish between B2B and B2C customers, VIP customers or resellers.
Customer groups in Shoporama
In Shoporama, you can create unlimited customer groups and assign them to individual customers. Each customer group can have:
- Own prices on products and variants
- Percentage discount on the entire range
- Access to specific products or categories
- Special payment and shipping methods
Customers are assigned a customer group via their customer profile in the administration. When they log in, they automatically see the prices for their customer group.
