As a data controller, you are required to have a data processing agreement with Shoporama as we process personal data on your behalf. Shoporama provides a data processing agreement that you can easily sign.

How to sign it

  1. Click the cog in the top right corner of your admin
  2. Go to Legal
  3. Under Data Processing Agreement you can read and sign the agreement
  4. The agreement is then valid and saved in your account

What does the agreement cover?

The Data Processing Agreement covers Shoporama's processing of personal data, including

  • Customer data - name, address, email and phone number from orders
  • Order data - order content, payment details and delivery info
  • Newsletter recipients - email addresses from sign-ups
  • Statistics - visitor data and behavior in your shop

Your responsibility as a shop owner

In addition to the data processing agreement with Shoporama, you should as a minimum

  • Have a privacy policy on your webshop
  • Have cookie consent - inform visitors about the use of cookies
  • Have an inventory of processing activities
  • Comply with the rules for storing and deleting personal data
